Real Brokerage at a glance (Canada)
Other fees apply, including a $249 CAD sign-up fee, a $1,200 CAD annual brokerage and risk management fee (collected as $400 from each of your first three closings), a $40 compliance review fee per transaction, and a $375 fee per sale after you cap. We'll go through the full current fee schedule with you.
Real also offers optional revenue share (5 tiers) and stock award programs. Eligibility rules, caps and vesting apply. They're a bonus, not the reason to move, and we'll explain exactly how they work if you ask.

Do I have to join TNT to join Real with Tod or Tausha?
No. Joining Real Brokerage with Tod or Tausha as your sponsor is not the same as joining the TNT team. You run your own business at Real, under your own name, with your own clients. TNT is a separate team. If that's what you want, visit our Join Us page.
What is the Alberta Agent Collective?
A community and learning hub for Alberta agents, created by Tod & Tausha Hall. It shares practical content on systems, technology, AI and brokerage economics. AAC is not a brokerage and does not license, employ or supervise agents. Follow along whether or not you ever change brokerages.
What is Real Edge Network?
A wider network of Real Brokerage agents who share training, tools and resources. Tod & Tausha are connected to it. AAC is not part of Real Edge Network or any Real Edge division, and you talk to us directly. Ask us and we'll share the resources that fit your situation.
How much does it cost to join Real Brokerage in Alberta?
As of October 2026: an 85/15 split until a $15,000 CAD annual cap, and no monthly desk fees. Other fees apply, including sign-up, annual, per-transaction and post-cap fees. We'll go through the full schedule with you. Brokerage programs, fees and incentives can change. Current terms should always be confirmed with Real Brokerage.
Do I keep my own brand, clients and database?
Your brand and relationships are yours, and nobody at AAC, TNT or Real takes over your clients. You'll display the brokerage name as RECA's advertising rules require. Active listings, pending deals and brokerage-owned systems depend on your current brokerage agreement and RECA rules, so check those before you move. We'll help you work out what to ask.
Is changing brokerages a hassle?
It takes some planning: your licence transfer through RECA, timing around active deals, board membership, signage, marketing and tech. Most of the stress comes from not having a plan. We'll walk you through it and share a practical transition plan.
Is this mainly about revenue share?
No. Most agents look at Real for independence, economics and support. Real offers optional revenue share and stock award programs with eligibility rules, caps and vesting. If you join with Tod or Tausha as your sponsor, they may earn revenue share and stock awards from Real. You never have to recruit anyone. We make no income promises, and stock awards are not investment advice.
Can I talk to you if I'm not ready to move?
Please do. Plenty of our conversations start with "just curious." It's confidential, and you won't be added to a recruiting drip.
Will you help after I join?
Yes. That's the point of AAC. You get help getting set up, a local contact for questions, and access to resources and learning. How much you lean on us is your call.
