The short answer
Choose a Mahogany realtor who prices lakefront, lake-view and interior homes separately, explains the homeowners' association fee and knows which builders and phases buyers favour. Mahogany School is full, so school designation matters too. Our team has handled 12 Mahogany transactions since 2016, on both the buying and selling side.

- West Beach, with a playground, sports courts, a fire pit and a dock
- Skating and cross-country ski tracks around the lake in winter, plus wetlands and pathways
Shopping and dining
- Sobeys at Mahogany Plaza
- Westman Village beside the lake, with about 42,000 sq. ft. of shops and restaurants, including Chairman's Steakhouse
- Diner Deluxe in Mahogany Centre for brunch
- Seton's shops, Cineplex and the YMCA are next door

Choosing an agent
Three questions to ask a Mahogany realtor
- 1How would you price my home against lakefront, lake-view and interior sales in Mahogany, and which phase do buyers compare it with?
- 2How have homes like mine sold in Mahogany over the last 90 days, and what did they sell for compared with list price?
- 3Who will I work with day to day, and how quickly do you respond when homes are moving fast?
